I have major issues concerning men hitting women and women hitting men. please respond and be honest.?
Why is it that when a man hits a woman he is looked at as a dog, a punk, weak, a sissy, and a moster, a people want to attack, him, but when a woman does it especially in the media she is looked at as brave, a fighter, a good example for women. Its so two sided. Men are abused in relationships too, but just don't report it. I also pressed charges on her.

I completely understand where you are coming from on this. Being a guy, I still would not hit or woman or defend myself against a woman cause if I did defend myself against a woman and left a mark on her and the cops showed up they would automatically believe her story that I hit her first and she was just defending herself. Yes, it is true that statistically wise, woman are abused more often them men, but how many of those abuse cases are nothing more then the man defending himself?

Basically, if you are getting abused domestically, weither your a man or a woman, it is better to try and cover your self then to defend yourself by attacking back.

Do these movies protray a disturbing truth about realtionships between men and women?
I guess I will start with the movie I think is creepier. In the movie The Story of O the woman does anything to try tp win the love of a man she does and agrees to obey and do everything sexually and be whipped, branded etc. Another movie Let the Right One In/ Let Me (more apparent in the American version) Eli/ Abby is a vampire who has a weird relationship with a man who goes out to get her blood. She watches this man grow old and become no longer good at killing. She befriends a loner named Oscar/Owen. They become friends and later on after her guardian's death his girlfriend. In the end the man gets caught pours acid on his face and ends up killing himself. Eli/Abby keeps contact with Oscar/Owen but seems not to cope well with her guardian gone. In the end she rescues Oscar/ Owen from the bullies but by killing them and the two run off together. It is alluded he becomes her guardian.

I think the story of O is not about a woman tyring to win a man's love by being submssive, it's about a woman who actually wants to be submissive, and wants to be dominated. She seems to revel in the things that are done to her. I don't personally find her a very appealing character, and I think the story generally is rather dreary, there's no warmth or passion or sexiness in it, it's all rather cold and mechanical.

And being a housewife does not necessarily make you submisssive. Where does this idea come from? There are plenty of housewives who are not submissive at all, and high powered career women who are very submissive in their personal lives. The two things do not necessarily go together at all.
