Are The Crime Rates Lower In School Spanking States?
Some of these states are Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, Alabama, ect... Are the crime rates lower there than in places like Oregon where it's illeagle to spank in school? Lets settle this once and for all.

I don't know statistics, but from a logic standpoint It is very plausible. In states where CP is allowed, I am sure the guyren understand the consequences of poor behavior. Many guys have no respect for authority, and it is because the parents don't teach them to be respectful. They are in school longer each day than they are at home, so why shouldn't the teacher be allowed to demand respect just as a parent would.
I think it would create a safer learning environment, and better test scores. Then we might not have the problems we are encountering in schools and on the street. There are other reasons for increase in school violence. Lack of parental presence, poverty, poor guy/parent dynamic, violent media influences, violent peer influences, poor problem solving repetoire, poor communication skills, low grades in school, not fitting in, etc.etc. etc.

If you are in the U.S., your teacher should know better than to threaten students with something she can't actually do. These threats should be reported to the principal, preferably by parents.
If you are in another country, you need to find out what the actual policy of the school is. There should be information sent home to the parents or available to them. If your parents don't punish you this way at home, I don't think they'd be happy about the school doing it. Tell them what the teacher said, and get them to talk to the school.
