I always used to get them, but then I did some research on how to correctly shave down there and it's much better now. You'll have to double check me on the details, but here's what i do.
1) Trim the pubic hairs with hair scissors. Get the hairs as close to the skin as possible, be careful not to cut yourself.
2) Get a shower and wash thoroughly down there.
3) Dry yourself completely.
4) Use shaving cream and shave in the same direction as the hair.
5) If all the hair isn't gone put more shaving cream on and shave against the direction of the hair.
6) Rinse yourself off and make sure to dry!(If it's too wet down there you could get a yeast infection)
7) Put some kind of soothing lotion on, made especially for after shaving the vagina
